So it seems that (at least according to some people), those of us who take the Bible seriously are now "terrorists".

I know, isn't it a shame?

Although, it is a misconception about the "day" presented in Genesis that has a lot of Christians and non-Christians confused at how science says billions of years and the Bible says a week. In the English langauge, the word "day" means 24 hours, but in the original text, "day" meant literally "a span of time" which could be a literal day, or millions of years. So it doesn't matter what time scale science measures the earth, it is always compatible with the Bible. Especially because the Bible presents creation in a scientific order.

It always cracks me up when Bible-haters talk about how scientifically incorrect it is...and yet, they are so ignorant of the truth! Who said the world is round first? Science or the Bible?

The Bible- some 5,000 years before science did, which proves that the Bible must have been inspired, or how would Isiah know? He was an uneducated man, and in his times, people thought the world was flat and sitting on the back of Ganesha! Isiah, with the Lord's Spirit said the circle/orb of the earth was suspended in space.

Heck, the Bible talks of thermo dynamics, and that's a new concept in science!

The Bible is so rich with science, it really is ashame that folks still live in doubt. Not a sould has be able to debunk a single fact in the Bible. Not one!

I've been called many mean things, and terrorist, because I'm a witnessing Christian, is one of the many.

If striking fear into the solid hearts of blind men and women across the world is what it takes, I'll do it. I have also been known to kill with my great weapon of kindness. :)

It does matter if God took a literal 24-hours or "millions of years" for each day of creation. Science(which usually doesn't involve God) measures the age of the earth and human "evolution" over time in millions of years. I'm sure that scientists couldn't care less if the Bible says fish were created before people. To them, everything is the result of a giant cosmic accident and random chance.

The point is:either God is all-powerful and created the universe in six twenty-hour days, or He is not and couldn't do it.

It's ridiculous, Christians should take the Bible seriously(but I guess that's getting less and less ' politically correct' these days).

I know. :( I pray everyday for a revival in the hearts of us all.

Yes, trying to set back human progress by trying to get rid of scientific theories, trying to restrict people's civil rights, and threatening hellfire is so innocent isn't it. Now if only that guy would say some things actual religious extremists have said, then people would have a much less "innocent" image of that character.

ter·ror·ism Audio Help /ˈtɛrəˌrɪzəm/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[ter-uh-riz-uhm] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–noun 1. the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, esp. for political purposes.
2. the state of fear and submission produced by terrorism or terrorization.
3. a terroristic method of governing or of resisting a government.

That's pretty much what fundamentalism is right there, whether it's Islam fundamentalism or Christian fundamentalism. Both threaten hellfire after all.
